Sing Happy, Sing Tuneless!!!
Singing is more than just a bit of fun
For thousands of years, in all cultures, in all parts of the world, people have been singing. Singing is in our genes and in human nature. The urge to sing - and to hear others sing - is in all of us. Singing - like laughter, play, sunshine, countryside and exercise - helps underpin and maintain our well-being and happiness. Singing is therefore fundamentally enriching.
Whether you sing in the bath, with your children, in the car, or with the radio singing is fun. Singing with Tuneless Choir gives you more opportunities to get that sense of fun and enjoyment.
But singing in a choir is more than just a bit of fun. It's been scientifically proven that it is good for your health: from getting more oxygen into the blood, to increasing the flow of feel good hormones and improving mental health.
Heart Research UK, says: "Singing is good for you. It's a great way to keep in shape because you are exercising your lungs and heart. Not only that, your body produces 'feel good' hormones called endorphins, which rush around your body when you sing. It's exactly the same when you eat a bar of chocolate. The good news with singing is that you don't gain any calories."
